The 2026 Roblox Developers Conference (RDC) is back for it's 11th consecutive year this September 10-12 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, and Roblox is expected to make some huge announcements, including new platform updates, product innovations, and what shapes the future of creation.
Last year, Roblox announced new features such as Server Authority, Avatar Makeup, SLIM (Scalable Lightweight Interactive Models), and an 8.5% increase in the Developer Exchange (DevEx) rate which invested more into creators on the platform. You can view the full highlights here.
Watch RDC Live
RDC is known for being invite-only, meaning not just anyone on Roblox can attend. Most of the presentations and sessions are exclusive to attendees, however, a select few keynote presentations will be streamed live for everyone to watch. These include the Opening Keynote featuring CEO David Baszucki and other executives, the Creator Keynote featuring head Roblox engineers, and the Innovation Awards, the annual ceremony honoring the best games and creators on the platform.
The Opening Keynote and Creator Keynote will be streamed live on September 11th at 10:00AM PT and 1:00PM PT respectively on Roblox's YouTube channel. The Innovation Awards will be streamed live on September 12th at 7:00PM PT on both Roblox's YouTube channel and at The Block, Roblox persistent entertainment and music experience. If you watch it at The Block, you can get some exclusive avatar items, including a possible Domino Crown.
